Truckers begin a New Round of Strike

According to reports on social media, a new round of strikes has begun by the truck drivers in cities such as Tabriz, Shahr Reza, Mahbodan, Bushehr, Tehran, Sirjan, Marvdasht, and Sabzevar.

Truck drivers are protesting the low wages and high prices of spare parts.

In an interview with Mehr News, Asadollah Kargar, the chairman of fruits and vegetable association said the truckers’ strike has had a direct impact in the price of tomatoes and potatoes.
