Hajizadeh: The Enemy Tried to Make Our Missiles Explode in the Air

Amir Ali Hajizadeh, the commander of IRGC aerospace force denied the U.S sabotage in Iran’s missile program.

He said that the countries that were trying to sabotage Iran’s missile program: “They sabotaged small parts that we buy so that the missile will not hit the target or explode in the air.”

He continued: “Honestly, they did a nice job, but they couldn’t achieve a damn thing, because fortification has already happened.”

Last week, the New York Times reported that the United States has sabotaged the space and missile program of the Islamic Republic by sending faulty parts and equipment to Iran.

In recent years, 67 percent of Iran’s missile tests have been unsuccessful, which is significantly higher than the world average of 5 percent.

On Wednesday, Hajizadeh responded to the report by saying “we used the faulty and cheap parts in non-essential areas and turned this threat into an opportunity!”

The IRGC also released a video claiming they have gained access to the American drone system. Referring to the video, the commander of IRGC aerospace force said: “this is the response to the audacity of the Americans”.
