IRGC Missile Attack on East of Euphrates in Syria

IRGC shot several surface-to-surface ballistic missiles at the eastern part of the Euphrates in Syria. IRGC announced that by targeting ISIS with these missiles, they have “avenged the Ahvaz attack.”

In a statement on October 1st, the IRGC public relations office announced the missile attacks on a location claimed to be the “headquarters of the leaders of Ahvaz attack.”

According to the statement, the attack caused the “death of many terrorists and leaders of Ahvaz attack.”

Based on the images published by Iranian media including Fars News Agency, the missiles had phrases such as “Death to America, Death to Israel, and Death to the Saudis” written on them. Fars also reported that the missiles were of the two types of Zolfaghar (750 km range) and Ghiam (800 km).
