Raisi Intervenes, Seminary Students Go Free
Seminary Students accused of “threats on the life of the president” were released today after Ebrahim Raisi’s intervention. Raisi is the attorney general of the special clergy court. He is also in charge of Astan Qods foundation. According to president Rouhani’s deputy in legal matters, these students were charged with “threatening the life of the president.” The news was reported by Vahid Yaminpour on National TV.
