74 Percent Rise in the Housing Market Prices

ISNA reported that in the 12 months leading to September of this year, the housing market in Tehran has witnessed a 74 percent price hike which is the highest rise in the last five years.

The housing market had been in recession for five years and the prices had remained relatively stable. After the sudden spike in the prices of gold and foreign currency, the housing prices also experienced a significant hike.

The Islamic Consultative Assembly will decide on the vote of confidence for the new suggested minister of Roads and Urban Development next week.
