Arrested Worker Was Moved to Hospital Due to Severe Torture

 

Esmael Bakhshi, one of the arrested Haft-Tappeh workers has been moved to a hospital due to severe torture.

According to labor activists, Esmael Bakhshi has been heavily bludgeoned in the head and face and his face is bruised and swollen.

It is not clear whether he has been moved to prison or not, but his arrest has been extended.

Esmael Bakhshi was arrested along with several other workers on the 14th day of Haft-Tappeh workers protest. Most of the workers have been released.

An official at the Labor ministry told ILNA News that Mr. Bakhshi’s case is a national security case and ministry of labor cannot intervene.
