Hossein Salami, the newly appointed commander in chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps stated that his goal is to turn the “rule of Islam” into a “civilization”.

He said: “We (IRGC) must extend our realm of dominance from the region to the world so that we don’t leave any safe space for the enemy around the world.”

Hossein Salami was appointed as the commander in chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Corps three days ago.

While referring to the activities of the Quds Force in Syria (Quds/Jerusalem Force, the international arm of the IRGC), Salami said that this force was able to “end U.S dominance in the east of the Mediterranean Sea and to progress until the Red Sea and turn the lands of Islam into lands of Jihad.”

He also mentioned the IRGC missile program, saying: “Our forces carved into the heart of the earth and created missile cities and their missiles carved the skies and rained down on the enemies of Islam.”

Meanwhile, this week an Israeli media reported that a missile production plant on the border of Syria and Lebanon was targeted.
