Coronavirus epidemic in Iran updates
According to official reports, one person in Hamedan province has died of coronavirus.
Neyshabur officials have also announced one death from the virus in that region.
In response to the comments made by Qom representative, Amirabadi, about the death of 50 patients from coronavirus in Qom, Deputy Minister of Health Iraj Harirchi said Amirabadi must prove his claim or resign.
Representative Amirabadi said in response that he has sent the list of the diseased patients to the Deputy Minister, adding: I’m awaiting Harirchi’s resignation.
Tajikistan has canceled all flights to and from Iran.
The first case of coronavirus was identified in Iraq. The patient had entered Iraq before the borders were closed. According to the Health Minister of Iraq, the patient is Iranian.
The representative of Qom city in the parliament claimed that almost 50 people have died of coronavirus in Qom and 250 have been quarantined. He went on to say that each day 10 people are dying from the virus.
