General Salami: The Enemy Is Afraid of Our Missile Capabilities
In response to the new round of United States’ sanctions against the Islamic Republic, General Hossein Salami, second-in-command of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, said: “Iran has high capabilities in any missile field, including long distance, precision, and power; and the enemy is afraid of this capability."
Salami emphasized: “We must block all the methods that the enemy will try to dominate us, and also create the capability to attack the enemy’s vital targets and interests, but the enemy is trying to prevent us from achieving this deterrent capability.”
He continued: “Americans have lost their political legitimacy and they don’t have the military advantage and conditions for a new attack. In their current economic condition, they cannot manage any wars, therefore, they have started an economic war against the Iranian people.”
