Human Rights Watch demanded the release of imprisoned environmentalists

The Human Rights Watch organization asked the Islamic Republic authorities to release the imprisoned environmentalists immediately.

The organization mentioned that after eight months, the eight arrested environmentalists are still in prison without being specifically charged. The judiciary has accused the incarcerated activists of espionage. While previously several high-ranking authorities within the government had admitted that there is no proof of espionage.
