The impeachment of the Minister of Industries was brought to the floor and delivered to the speaker and his deputies. The representatives responsible have been following impeachment of the minister for several weeks. They say that Shariatmadari has not attended his last 3 impeachment review sessions.
Issues such as “lack of control and management of the market and the unprecedented rise of prices and Hoarding of goods” have been mentioned as the reasons for this impeachment.
Earlier this week there were rumors of Shariatmadari resigning, but they were denied by the ministry of industries.
