Iran International sources report 456 coronavirus deaths in Iran
Although the medical authorities in Iran, including the Ministry of Health officials, are reporting only 77 CORVID-19 deaths, in the entire country, Iran International’s reliable sources have confirmed 456 deaths.
According to Iran International sources, with the newly confirmed victims in the provinces of Tehran, Khuzestan, Kurdistan, Hormozgan, and Lorestan, the number of casualties has reached at least 456.
The Deputy Minister of Health has reported 77 deaths and 2336 confirmed cases.
Reports indicate that due to the long waiting period for the test results, in many cases the victims and patients have not been documented as COVID19 patients.
After the members of parliament from Qom and Rasht, now the deputy speaker of the parliament has called the official numbers “unrealistic” and said: “This disease is not a joke and we mustn’t treat it as one.”
According to official reports, 23 members of parliament have been infected and a few newly elected MPs have passed away.
A member of the Regime’s Expediency Discernment Council, Mohammad Mir-Mohammadi also passed away from COVID19 in recent days.
Reports indicate that over 30 prisoners and prison guards have also shown symptoms of the disease and since then the spokesperson for the judiciary has announced that 54000 prisoners have been sent on temporary leave.
