Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the special assistant to the speaker of the Islamic Republic parliament in international affairs warned Saudi Arabia that their continued cooperation with the United States will lead to a shocking decision by Iran.

On Tuesday, Abdollahian tweeted: “If the leaders of Saudi Arabia don’t stop following and serving the United States in their economic war against the Islamic Republic of Iran, they must expect a new and shocking decision from Tehran.”

In the end, he addressed the coalition of “Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and Israel” and states that time is running out for them.

Abdollahian war formerly deputy of Arab and African affairs in the foreign ministry of Iran for five years.

Tensions between Riyadh and Tehran has intensified in recent months. Recently, Saudi Arabia’s pipeline and oil facilities were attacked along with two of its oil tankers near Fujairah. The countries involved consider Iran responsible for the attacks.

On Friday, both the Arab League and the Persian Gulf Cooperation Organization, in separate summits in Mecca held Iran accountable for “destabilizing the region” and condemned the attacks on the oil tankers in Fujairah and Saudi Arabia’s oil facilities.

The statements mention and condemn “Iran’s interventions in the domestic affairs of other countries, shooting of Iranian made ballistic missiles into Saudi Arabia, continued support of Houthis in Yemen, continued intervention in Bahrain’s domestic affairs, and interventions in Syria.”

Qatar and Iraq have not agreed to the issued statement.
