Kashani: Exposing the corruptions will make the enemy happy

Ayatollah Mohammad Emami Kashani, the temporary Friday-prayer Imam of Tehran, claimed that the American government is “trying to accuse our government and its branches of systemic corruption" he claimed they are doing this "in order to control Iran and create chaos in the society”.

He said: “They do this so that people would think that the executive and the other branches of government are all corrupt, and the whole Islamic regime is corrupt.”

He added: “If we keep trying to expose corruption in the government and other branches, we are helping the enemy and it will make them happy. The supreme leader has said repeatedly that insulting and accusing each other is the enemy’s plan and desire. They want to make people believe that the system is corrupt.”

The Friday-prayer Imams are considered to be the voices of the supreme leader in every town and city.
