Labor activist Zanyar Dabbaghian was arrested once again

On Monday, October 11, labor activist Zanyar Dabbaghian was arrested by the security forces and transferred to an undisclosed location.

According to the International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran, a source close to Zanyar’s family reported: “two days after his arrest, security forces in civilian clothing searched his house and confiscated his wife’s laptop and cellphone.”

According to this report, there is no information on the reason for his arrest nor his whereabouts.

Dabbagian was arrested once before in February 2015 by the security forces and was released after a month on a bail of 100 million tomans.
