Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel warned Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Lebanon’s Hezbollah to calm down.

At a speech in Jerusalem on Tuesday, August 27, Netanyahu addressed Nasrallah’s recent comments: “I heard what Nasrallah said. I suggest to Nasrallah to calm down. He knows well that Israel knows how to defend itself and to pay back its enemies. I say the same to Qassem Soleimani (the commander of Iran’s Quds Force): Be careful with your words and even more so with your actions."

After an Israeli drone attack against Hezbollah on Sunday, the leader of Hezbollah said: “Israel has made a very dangerous move by sending a drone into Lebanese airspace."

He pledged to the people of Israel that “they will not feel safe and gave a normal life,” and added: “Be certain that Hezbollah will respond to this aggression.”

The president and the prime minister of Lebanon have also condemned Israel’s attack against Hezbollah, with President Aoun calling it a declaration of war.

Netanyahu stated that Israel is ready to defend itself with any means necessary against Iran, who in his opinion is at war with Israel in several fronts.

The foreign minister of Bahrain, Khalid Bin Ahmad Al-Khalifa, has implicitly supported Israel in a tweet saying Iran has “declared war through its Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Hezbollah of Lebanon, Houthis of Yemen, Hashd Al-Shaabi of Iraq, and other groups.”

He added: “You can’t blame those who fight with these forces and destroy their supplies. Because that is self-defense.”
