Over 7000 Car Accident Casualties in the First Six Months of This Year

Pir-Hossein Koulivand, the chairman of Iran’s emergency services said: “We have 43 deaths and 900 injured in car accidents every day, which is very concerning. The insurance companies have paid over 89 trillion Rials this year.”

He added: “Car accidents are the primary cause of death in 15 to 17 age group, third in 10 to 14 age group, and fourth in 5 to 9 age group.”
