Protests Continue for the 16th Day in Shush

The workers of the Haft-Tappeh Sugarcane company continued their protests for the 16th day. At the same time, the public and revolutionary courts announced that some of the workers arrested yesterday have been released.

Meanwhile ILNA reported that “there is still no news on the 4 other arrested workers along with the arrested journalist.”

News sources have reported that Esmail Bakhshi, Moslem Armand, Mohammad Khanifar, and Hossein Fazeli are still under arrest. Sepideh Gholian jas also been named among the arrested.

It was announced that they were arrested on national security-related charges.

At the same time as Haft-Tappeh protests, Ahvaz Steel company workers have also been protesting for several days, and some teachers have come to the support of Haft-Tappeh workers.
