Satirist Alireza Rezaei Passed Away at 43
Alireza Rezaei, satirist and journalist passed away on Tuesday, November 27, at the age of 43 in France.
Rezaei was born in Shiraz and he went to Nooshirvani University in Babol, Mazandaran.
He left Iran after the 2009 presidential election and became famous for his popular Youtube videos in which he satirized the officials and superstitious clerics in the regime.
He was one of the main writers on “Parasite” and “Politik” shows in Voice of America and Radio Farda.
Rezaei had a history of heart problems.
