Steel Company Workers Continue Their Protests

National Steel Company workers in Ahvaz continued their protests today. 

Witnesses told Iran International that as the workers continued their protests, some of the people joined them and chanted anti-regime slogans. The Steel Company workers demand their paychecks that have not been paid for several months.

Meanwhile, the Haft-Tappeh workers’ protests enters its 4th week in Shush, and workers of Abadan municipality also had a gathering demanding their unpaid salaries.

A group of university students also announced their solidarity with the workers this week.
