Street Vendor Killed by the Police in Ahvaz

Reports received by Iran International indicate that on Friday 28th, a 22-year-old street vendor named Mostafa Heidari was killed by the police.

According to the reports, the police agents were trying to forcibly remove him from the street, and when he resisted, he was killed by them.

The incident took place in Naderi street in Ahvaz. Images published in social media show the police trying to disperse the crowd of citizens voicing their anger about the murder of the young man.

Since the terror attacks at the military parade last week, Ahvaz has witnessed a heavy presence by the security forces.
