A Suspect in Ahvaz Attack Was Executed Without Trial

Family members of one of the people arrested after the Ahvaz terrorist attack announced his death.

His family members told the Iran International reporter that he was executed last week on Thursday and the IRGC security forces gave them the news and told them not to go public with it.

A source close to the families of the arrested suspects has reported more executions.

No official or local authority has expressed any opinion regarding the fate and the judicial process of the arrested suspects. Human Rights activists have speculated that the 22 individuals arrested might have all been executed.

The Intelligence Ministry had announced the arrest of 22 suspects in the case of Ahvaz terror attack. Human rights activists believe the number to be in the hundreds.
