Three More Dead for Consumption of Counterfeit Alcohol

The Revolutionary Court of Meshgin Shahr reported the deaths of three individuals for drinking counterfeit alcoholic beverages.

According to Taher Rasouli, the attorney general of Meshgin Shahr, 26 more have been poisoned and one has lost his eyesight.

Selling and consuming Alcohol is illegal in Iran under Sharia law, therefore there is a massive black market for alcoholic products which has taken many lives.
