Three People Arrested for the Billboard Gaffe in Shiraz
The chairman of the cultural department at Shiraz municipality who was previously fired for the billboard scandal was arrested on Friday.
At the same time, the attorney general’s office announced two more arrests related to this billboard, in which the Israeli soldiers were presented as Iranian soldiers. The office says the case is under investigation both in Public Court and the Revolutionary Court, under direct supervision by the attorney general.
The official Twitter page of Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs had reacted to the image.
The original image included a female soldier as well, which was erased from the photo.
