Yazdi: In the past 40 Years We Have Progressed 400 Years

On the anniversary of the Islamic Republic revolution, Ayatollah Yazdi said in the last 40 years, the Islamic Republic has progressed 400 years.

According to ISNA, in his speech on Thursday, the chairman of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom criticized the opposition who “are trying to return the seminary to the pre-revolution era.”

In another part of his speech, he said: “Some say we should not get involved in political and social issues.”

He continued: “If the situation isn’t dealt with today and this pattern is not corrected, tomorrow will be too late and in near future, we will have more concerns.”

He also demanded the seminary to be “revolutionary” and said that the seminary and the regime are not separate entities.”
