Zarif: Iran Will See the End of Trump; He will Not See the End of Iran
In his visit to Pakistan, the foreign minister of the Islamic Republic described President Donald Trump as a “Terrorist” and claimed that Iran will see the end of Trump, but Trump will not see the end of Iran.
In response to President Trump’s recent comments, Zarif stated that “he does not know the Iranian nation and its history, and if anyone is a terrorist, it is him.”
According to the Islamic Republic News Agency, Zarif continued: “The cheap comments made by the president of the United States show that not only he doesn’t know anything about history, but he doesn’t understand the nation of Iran.”
He claimed that Trump has called the Iranian people “terrorists”, and said: “Trump has committed economic terrorism, while the Islamic Republic has always been on the front line of the fight against terrorism.”
Zarif once again claimed that the economic sanctions are preventing the sale of food and medicine to Iran, a claim that has been denied by international humanitarian organizations and European countries.
In a recent speech, President Trump called Iran a terrorist nation, but he added: “I know many Iranians and they are great people, but their country is in terrible shape.”
