"Stop Using Human Shields Act"

Senate passes sanctions against Hamas and Hezbollah

The Senate passed two sanction plans known as the “Stop Using Human Shield Act”, which will mandate the government to sanction members of Hamas and Hezbollah for using human shields in warfare.

These legislations which were authored and supported by both Republicans and Democrats will now move on to the house of representatives.

The bills also sanction foreign government agencies, individuals, and companies that support Hamas and Hezbollah financially or militarily, and it even targets the media that support these groups.
