U.S Sends Aircraft Carrier to Middle East as Warning to Iran
John Bolton, the security advisor to the White House announced that the United States is sending bombers to the middle east to fight any possible action or attack by Iran. He said it is a response to Iran’s concerning behavior.
According to Reuters, Bolton said that the United States is not seeking war with Iran. However, he added in his statement that it is a clear signal to the regime of Iran that any attack, whether by the IRGC or the Islamic Republic proxies or the Army of Iran, will receive a severe and crushing response.
In his press statement on Sunday night, Bolton announced that Central Command has deployed USS Lincoln and some bombers to the middle east. According to the report, USS Lincoln was deployed from Virginia over a month ago.
According to an anonymous source of the Associated Press, there were signs that Iran and its proxy forces were planning on attacking American forces in the region.
Previously, in response to the designation of IRGC as a terrorist organization by the United States, the Islamic Republic had designated Central Command as a terrorist organization.
Iranian officials are yet to respond to Bolton’s press conference.
