Jahangiri: Truckers Should Be Patient a Little Longer

While referring to the recent protests and strikes of Iranian truckers around the country, vice-president Eshaq Jahangiri said: “There have been talks with the truckers and promises made that should be kept, and our truckers should also monitor the conditions of the country and have some patience for a few months so we can navigate through these tough times with flying colors.”

Iranian truckers have repeatedly gone on strike in the last few months in order to reduce the costs of spare parts, tires, customs tariffs, increased pension, raising wages, higher security on roads, and among other demands.
