Fake Liquor Kills Colombian Employee of Milad Tower
A Colombian employee of the Milad Tower circus died from consumption of fake liquor. The 47-year-old’s body was sent to the morgue for autopsy and an investigation is in progress regarding his death.
According to PirHossein Koolivand, president of Iran’s emergency services, fake alcoholic drinks have taken the lives of 69 individuals around the country in the past 30 days.
Since drinking alcohol is considered a crime under the country’s law except for religious minorities, fake alcoholic drinks are a constant problem and sometimes a cause of death among Iranian alcohol consumers.
