Teachers Strike: 13 Arrested, 30 Summoned
The coordination council of teachers’ associations announced that security forces have at least arrested 13 teachers and summoned 30 more.
The second round of teachers’ two-day strike took place on Tuesday and Wednesday in more than 50 towns and cities across Iran.
Teachers refused to go to classes in protest to low wages and suppression of teachers by the regime.
The first round of strikes was in September.
