Austrian Chancellor Condemned Rouhani’s Anti-Israel Speech

The chancellor of Austria and the prime minister of Israel condemned Rouhani’s speech in the Islamic Unity Conference opening where he said an ominous result of the second world war was the creation of the cancerous tumor of Israel in the region.

In response, Sebastian Kurz, the chancellor of Austria, tweeted that Rouhani’s words and questioning the right of Israel to exist are unacceptable. He said his country has a historical responsibility regarding anti-Semitism and supporting Israel and the security of Israel is not up for debate.

Austria previously declined to host the EU trade mechanism with Iran.

Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel also said Israel knows how to defend itself against the “destructive regime of Iran”.
