Germany extradites the Iranian diplomat accused of bombing to Belgium
Asadollah Asadi, the Iranian diplomat in Austria who was arrested three months ago in Germany for involvement in planning the bombing of the MKO assembly, was extradited to Belgium.
Recently a court in Germany ordered the extradition of Asadi. In accordance with the verdict, he was arrested in Germany.
In response to the news of Asadi’s extradition, Bahram Ghassemi, the spokesperson for the Islamic Republic’s foreign ministry said that the Islamic Republic will follow up on the issue of the extradition of this diplomat.
