Italian Police Confiscates Heroin Shipment
Italian police announced on Thursday, November 8, that they have confiscated a 270 kg heroin shipment that was transported to Italy through the Bandar Abbas route. According to the police, the shipment’s destination was Netherland.
Police say they are not certain about when the shipment of heroin was loaded onto the ship. The ship had stops in Hamburg and Valencia harbors before reaching Genoa.
However, part of the shipment was allowed to reach its destination in Netherland in order to gather more information about the case.
According to the report, a truck carried part of this shipment from Switzerland through France and later Belgium and has finally reached the town of Rozendaal in Netherland. Two Turkish citizens in charge of the truck were arrested by the police.
