Russia: Sanctions Against Iran Are Illegitimate

Sergey Lavrov, the foreign minister of Russia said that the U.S. sanctions against the Islamic Republic are not legitimate.

He added that Russia expects some ways to be created for continued economic cooperation with the Islamic Republic despite the sanctions.

The new round of the United States’ sanctions against the Islamic Republic went into effect on Monday, November 5th, which mainly target the oil industry, shipping, and banking of the country.
