Saudi Arabia: Iran is the Backbone of Terrorism
Abdullah ibn Muhammad Al ash-Sheikh, the speaker of the Saudi Arabian parliament called Iran “the spine of terrorism”.
In the 29th summit of the Arab Parliaments in Jordan, he accused Iran that it ignores the Islamic and neighborly principles and interferes in the affairs of other countries of the region.
He also accused Iran of “supporting terrorism, planning and executing terrorist operations, and supporting civil wars”.
The 29th summit of Arab Parliaments ended last night. 17 speakers of parliaments from Arab countries attended the summit.
The Islamic Republic always denies terrorism allegations. Bahram Ghasemi, the spokesperson for the Islamic Republic foreign ministry called the comment of the foreign minister of UAE about Iran’s interventions in the region “baseless accusations.”
Two days ago, Ali Shamkhani, the chairman of Iran’s supreme security council warned Arab countries that “if they continue the policy of seeking help from the enemies of Islam”, they will witness “the rise of their humiliated citizens”.
Iran’s relations with the most powerful Arab countries in the region including Saudi Arabia and Emirates is at its all-time worst.
