Trump: Going into the Middle East was the worst decision ever

While repeating his criticism of American military intervention in the middle east, President Trump said the United States should have never entered the Middle East.

President Trump once again on Wednesday mentioned the evacuation of American troops from Syria and said: “Turkey is now responsible for ensuring all ISIS fighters being held captive remain in prison and that ISIS does not reconstitute in any way, shape, or form. We expect Turkey to abide by all of its commitments, and we continue to monitor the situation closely."

The president of the United States also called these wars “endless and stupid” which are about to end.

In two more tweets on Wednesday, President Trump stated that the Middle Eastern wars and providing security in the region have cost the United States over $8 trillion and wrote: “

“Thousands of our Great Soldiers have died or been badly wounded. Millions of people have died on the other side.”

He described the US decision to go to war in the Middle East as “the worst decision ever made in the history of our country.”

Trump once again criticized the Bush administration’s reason for going to war in Iraq, writing: “We went to war under a false & now disproven premise, WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION. There were NONE!”

The US president then promised that American soldiers will be brought home slowly and the US will from now on focus on the big picture.

Meanwhile, with American soldiers leaving north of Syria, Turkey has begun its assault on the Kurdish forces in that region.

In the past, President Trump has repeatedly criticized the international policies of previous US administrations and once told the American troops in 2018 that the United States can no longer be the “world’s police.”

US, Russia, Iran, and European countries have opposed Turkey’s decision to attack Syria and have called for restraint.
