According to the newest list published by Henley Passport, in 2018 the Japanese passport is the strongest in the world.
Henley Passport is an institution that ranks passports annually based on strength and value.
According to their report, people with Japanese passport can travel to 190 countries visa-free.
Iran’s passport is ranked at 98 out of the 106, and people with Iranian passport can travel to 43 countries without a visa.
After Japan, Singapore has the second strongest passport, Germany, France, and South Korea are at third, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Sweden, and Spain are ranked fourth, and Norway, Britain, Austria, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Portugal, and the United States are ranked 5th.
Belgium, Switzerland, Ireland, and Canada are ranked 6th, Australia, Greece, and Malta at 7th, New Zealand, and Czech Republic at 8th, Iceland 9th, and Hungary, Slovenia, and Malaysia are ranked 10th.
