Iran has spent 16 billion dollars in middle eastern wars since 2012
Iran Action Group in the state department released a report today titled “Outlaw Regime: A Chronicle of Iran’s Destructive Activities", in which it reveals that since 2012, the Islamic Republic has spent at least 16 billion dollars in support of Bashar Assad’s regime and other groups in Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq, and Yemen.
According to the report, Iran has extended at least 4.6 billion dollars in credits to the Assad regime on top of its military support and has spent at least 700 million dollars in Lebanon and 100 million dollars in Palestine. The report also says that the Islamic Republic has spent hundreds of millions of dollars in support of Houthis in Yemen.
