Iran's Regime Accused of Killing Two Dissidents in Netherlands
In a letter to the parliament, Stef Blok, the foreign minister of Netherlands accused Iran's regime of “the assassination of two Iranian dissidents in the Netherlands.”
He names Mohammad Samadi and Ahmad Nisi in his letter as the two residents of the Netherlands who were assassinated in 2015 and 2017 and claims that the Islamic Republic had a hand in their assassinations.
Stef Blok also supported the EU sanctions against the Islamic Republic and demanded to end the Islamic Republic’s unacceptable interventions in Europe.
He says the investigations on the death of these two Iranian dissidents is ongoing.
On Wednesday, the European Union announced that it has put sanctions on the Islamic Republic’s ministry of intelligence for “attempted assassinations of Iranian dissidents in Europe.”
The foreign minister of Denmark announced this news and called it an important day in Europe’s foreign relations.
Denmark’s police had also announced that the Islamic Republic’s intelligence agents had tried to assassinate several Iranian dissidents in Denmark.
Also, earlier in the Summer of 2018, several individuals were arrested in France for an attempted bomb attack on an MKO rally in France.
