Khamenei: Palestinians now have precision missiles instead of rocks
The leader of the Islamic Republic, Ali Khamenei, says that Palestinians now have precision missiles instead of rocks to fight the American peace plan, known as the deal of the century.
In a meeting with the representatives of Hamas, the leader of the Islamic Republic said: “Not long ago, Palestinians fought with rocks, but today they are armed with precision missiles instead, and that means advancement.”
According to Khamenei: “Confronting the Deal of the Century requires promotional, cultural, and intellectual efforts and the other method is to make the Palestinians feel advancement.”
“The return of this holy land [Israel] to the World of Islam is not a strange and unattainable matter,” claimed Khamenei.
Al-Arouri, the Hamas representative, told Khamenei that "today, all of the occupied territories including sensitive and important areas of Israel are in the range of Palestinian militant groups."
The Islamic Republic does not recognize the right of Israel to exist and officially supports the Al-Aqsa militia, which is the military arm of Hamas. The leader and other officials of the Islamic Republic have regularly called for and promised the annihilation of Israel.
Khamenei emphasized that despite the change of views in the region, the Islamic Republic will never change its position of Palestine.
“Hamas declares its solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran and underlines that any offensive move against Iran is considered as an offensive act against Hamas and other Palestinian militant groups. We consider ourselves on the front line of support for Iran,” declared Al-Arouri.
In the past, Al Arouri has regularly praised Iran for its public support of Hamas.
“Iran is the only country that says that entity is carcinogenic and should be uprooted from the region,” he told the pro-Hamas Al-Quds TV in February 2018. “It is the only country that is prepared to provide real and public support to the Palestinian resistance and others to confront the entity,” Al Arouri said in a TV interview earlier.
