Tehran Denies Hacking the Phones of Israeli Officials
Bahran Ghasemi, the spokesman for the ministry of foreign affairs denied the hacking of Israeli officials by the Islamic Republic.
Last week Israeli media claimed that the Islamic Republic has hacked the cellphone of Benny Gantz, former chief od Israeli army and the main competition of Benjamin Netanyahu for the prime minister position.
Ghasemi denied the claim saying the Israeli officials “are used to lying about Iran.”
Previously, most Israeli media had also reported the hacking of the cellphone and computer of Ehud Barak, the former prime minister of Israel.
There are speculations that the Islamic Republic has also hacked the cellphones of Netanyahu’s wife and son.
Ghasemi claimed that Israel and the U.S are trying to “maximize their pressure on Iran” due to their “animosity and hatred and Iranophobia.”
However, last month, the prime minister of Australia also reported of a cyber attack on the main political parties and the parliament of the country. According to the reports, Iran was also involved in the attack.
The spokesman for the Islamic Republic ministry of foreign affairs also denied the cyber attack on Australia and called it another chapter of “psychological war against Iran’s legitimate capabilities in the field of technology.”
