Iran: Netanyahu's Trip to Oman Was "to Create Friction Among Muslim Nations"
In response to Netanyahu’s visit to Oman, Bahram Ghasemi, the spokesperson for the ministry of foreign affairs said: “Israel is trying to create conflict between Muslim nations and covering up 70 years of slaughtering the Palestinian people.”
Benjamin Netanyahu traveled to Oman for a meeting with the king of the country. According to his office, the reason for the trip was to promote peace in the Middle East and the national interests of both countries. The last meeting between Israeli and Omani authorities was 22 years ago.
A while back there was a report that claimed the Iranian bank accounts in Oman had been frozen, which the joint chamber of commerce of Iran and Oman denied it in a statement that said the bank accounts of Iranian companies and investors will face no problems as long as they abide by the legal measures against money laundering.
